Chris is the State Government Affairs Manager for Michigan LCV. Born and raised in Michigan, Chris has dedicated his life and career to advocating for environmental and natural resource policies in his favorite state.
He received a Bachelor’s in Environmental Economics and Management at Michigan State University, and after graduating lived in Madrid, Spain for a year where he received a Master’s in Sustainable Development and Corporate Responsibility from EOI Business School. Returning home, he then received his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law where he specialized in environmental and natural resource law. Before joining MLCV, he worked as a fiscal analyst for the Senate Fiscal Agency, where he crafted and analyzed the state budgets for the Department of Natural Resources and Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy.
When not working, he can be found fly fishing in any stream or river he can find, camping and hiking with his wife, Brittany, watching every single MSU football and basketball game, or enjoying some Michigan craft beer at a local brewery.
