Evelyn Maidlow

Evelyn serves as our Membership Manager, spearheading our team’s efforts to scale our small-dollar fundraising initiatives through digital channels and direct mail appeals. With a rich background in political campaigns and digital strategy, Evelyn brings a wealth of experience to her role.

Prior to joining our team, Evelyn consulted through her digital consulting firm, Glass Breaking Strategies, LLC. Notable clients include Amazon’s award-nominated voter suppression documentary All In: The Fight For Democracy featuring Stacey Abrams; and the Stop Trump PAC, who Evelyn helped raise millions of dollars for in the effort to restore sanity and leadership to the White House.

Previously, Evelyn played a pivotal role as a campaign writer on the Warren for President campaign. In this capacity, she was one of a small handful of people entrusted to expertly capture Senator Warren’s voice and vision, creating fundraising and voter persuasion content for online channels and direct mail. Her work contributed to the campaign’s historic success raising over $100 million, even being featured on the New York Times Twitter feed.

As a digital strategist for a small political consulting firm in Lansing, Evelyn provided digital strategy and fundraising expertise for clients ranging from the state house to congressional campaigns. Her work for the MJ Hegar for Congress campaign was awarded the 2019 Gold Pollie for Best Overall Fundraising Campaign — Democratic.

Before getting her start in politics as an organizer on the Hillary for America campaign in Philadelphia, Evelyn was employee #139 at global marketplace Etsy, Inc. This work instilled in Evelyn a love for small businesses, content creation, digital storytelling, and using online communities to drive change.

Evelyn resides in Okemos with her family and enjoys spending time with her 9-year-old nephew, working on her reading list, traveling, and telling people all about how cool the Great Lakes are.
