Daniel Rivera (him/él) is the Elections Systems Coordinator for Michigan League of Conservation Voters. He is responsible for building community power, especially through election official engagement and support of voting rights and election protection in Michigan.
Daniel previously served as the Congressional Progressive Caucus Fellow for Congressman Ro Khanna. During his time with Congress, he developed support and initiatives for public school teachers, community project funding, disabilities, civil rights, & increasing support for HBCU’s. Prior to the Hill, Daniel co-created and co-launched Building Bridges Through Education, an education and workforce initiative powered by the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish for the Professions and an Associate in Arts degree in Applied Speech Communication from Ferris State University, graduating summa cum laude.
Daniel is a West Michigan native. In his free time, you can catch him painting or trying new foods.
