Tell the EPA: Enact strong carbon standards for power plants

Power plants are the second largest source of climate pollution and spew toxic air pollution that causes adverse health effects like asthma and cancer. In order to avoid the worst climate impacts, we must fully decarbonize our power sector, starting with power plants. The EPA’s proposed rules will not only help decarbonize the electric grid, but create healthier communities in the process. Send a message to the EPA urging them to enact the strongest carbon emissions standards for power plants.

Support Legislation for Independent Community Solar

Senate Bills 152 and 153 would remove unnecessary restrictions on local solar projects, making it easier for communities to generate their own clean, affordable solar energy.

Michigan has the highest energy costs in the Midwest and some of the worst service. Community solar can help residents lower their energy bills and reduce their carbon footprint.
