Our Water, Our Vote executes campaign to elect Abdullah Hammoud for Dearborn Mayor
LANSING – The Michigan League of Conservation Voters today announced an ongoing six-figure independent expenditure campaign through its Conservation Voters of Michigan PAC (CVM PAC) to elect Abdullah Hammoud for Dearborn Mayor.
“The impacts of climate change are undeniable, and we saw them firsthand with extreme weather events over the summer that caused flooding and overloaded our infrastructure,” said Nick Dodge, Communications Director for the Michigan League of Conservation Voters. “Dearborn deserves a leader who will put people first and tackle these issues facing the community head-on. Abdullah Hammoud has the experience and determination to ensure all residents have safe water to drink, clean air to breathe and a healthy future.”
The #OurWaterOurVote campaign by CVM PAC, already underway, includes a field program that is set to knock 12,000 doors through Election Day, along with advertising on digital platforms and social media.
