Time and time again, our utility companies let us down. The most recent example: storms knocked out power for nearly a million people in February, leaving Michiganders with spoiled food and no heat — some for 12 days straight. We’ve been working with partners to hold utility companies accountable. We called for our lawmakers to hold hearings to investigate DTE and Consumers’ poor service — and they did. Now we are continuing to work with the legislature to find real solutions for Michiganders.
