In this year’s election, Michigan LCV supported candidates in local elections that will have big impacts for our air, water and public health. Our wins in Dearborn and Grand Haven will ensure that we have elected leaders that will stand up for our communities and work hard to tackle issues that impact and air and water quality, our public health, and our democracy.

With Dearborn’s history of poor air quality from big polluters and Grand Haven’s looming power plant project in an environmentally-sensitive area, we know having environmental champions in office will be HUGE.
