Abby Fischer

Abby joined Michigan LCV as Digital Communications & Design Manager in 2020. Abby helps move Michigan LCV forward by boosting brand awareness online and through graphic design. She manages our social media, email program, and website, and she designs mailers, literature for canvasses and lobbying efforts, and several other print materials.

Growing up in a small town minutes from Lake Huron, Abby’s love for the Great Lakes began at a young age. Like many others, her love for the outdoors comes with a sense of responsibility and passion for protecting the environment. This passion led her to join Michigan LCV as a phone banking volunteer, and later as a full-time staff member.

Abby started her career at Northstar Bank where she worked in the marketing department planning community events, creating marketing campaigns, and doing design work. She is a Central Michigan University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Public Relations.

In her spare time, Abby enjoys reading, going to see the Red Wings play at Little Caesars Arena, performing in community theater productions, and spending time by the water.
