Detroit Community Garden Wake Ups – Saturday, Apr. 13
Join the Michigan LCV team and several of our Detroit-based partner organizations for our community garden wake-ups, connecting two historic regions of Detroit with two remarkable youth-driven organizations. Come celebrate the community’s efforts in cultivating green spaces, honoring their land and history, and highlighting shared struggles and commonalities across neighborhood boundaries. Food will be provided!

Oakland County Earth Day Rally, March, and Vendor Fair – Saturday, Apr. 20
Celebrate Earth Day with Michigan LCV! Join us on Saturday, Apr. 20 in Royal Oak for the largest Earth Day event in Oakland County, a climate rally and parade through downtown, environmentally-friendly vendors, teach-ins with experts, and special guest speakers!

Rally and March for Climate Justice in Kalamazoo! Join climate activists from across Kalamazoo on Friday, April 19 in marching to demand #ClimateJusticeNow! This event includes marches to Bronson Park will begin at WMU at 3 p.m. and at K College at 3:30 p.m. Rally starts at 4 p.m. in Bronson Park in Downtown Kalamazoo and will feature action opportunities, inspirational speakers, and other ways to get involved to make a difference in your community.
