And we’ll show you two ways to help. Together, we can be a voice for change and protect Michigan’s land, air, water, public health, and democracy.
Samantha is the Visual Storytelling Manager at Michigan LCV. She manages and produces content for our media library including photos, videos, and audio clips.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, her passions for environmental conservation and storytelling inspired her to study environmental issues in international development and journalism at Indiana University – Purdue University of Indianapolis. She has done photography and videography for an eco-tourism company in Windhoek, Namibia, and assisted in the design and writing of the project proposal for said company to take over management and preservation of two culturally relevant sites in Twyfelfontein. Her love for wildlife conservation brought her to Mote Marine Lab & Aquarium in Sarasota, Florida, where she produced photos, videos, and even memes about prehistoric creatures, sea turtle nesting season, resident manatees, educational experiments for kids, and teacher training programs.
Outside of work Samantha enjoys spending time with her big family. She loves traveling, nature and wildlife photography, live music, and her dog, Roxanne, and cat, Coco.
