And we’ll show you two ways to help. Together, we can be a voice for change and protect Michigan’s land, air, water, public health, and democracy.
Nick is the Communications Director for Michigan League of Conservation Voters. He joined Michigan LCV in 2019 and oversees strategy and vision and execution of the organization’s external communications and communications campaigns.
His role involves overseeing message development, speechwriting, materials creation, member communications, media relations and events, and paid communications. He co-leads programming for the Conservation Voters of Michigan’s Independent Expenditure campaign during elections.
Nick’s specialties include public relations, coalition communications, message development and political campaign communications.
During his tenure at Michigan LCV, Nick built the communications department into a five person team with graphic design, video production and digital advertising capacity. In 2023, he led the organization’s communications effort to pass 100% clean energy legislation, running a million dollar paid communications program and year-long earned media drumbeat, executing multiple press events and securing more than a hundred news articles in publications across the state.
He got his start working in advocacy communications, earned media and policy. He previously worked at East Lansing-based Byrum & Fisk Advocacy Communications as a communications strategist, developing strategy and managing communications campaigns focused on the environment, energy, education, labor and more.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys snow skiing, hiking, swimming in Lake Michigan and playing the guitar.
