ANN ARBOR — The Michigan League of Conservation Voters (Michigan LCV) issued General Election endorsements for the Michigan House of Representatives today. Michigan LCV is the leading non-partisan political voice for Michigan’s land, air and water, and endorses candidates for office who will make the protection of our natural resources a priority in the state Legislature.

“With so many uncertainties leading into the last few months of the current Legislature, it’s important we make sure November’s election ushers in in a pro-conservation majority in the State House that will prioritize putting public health and our Great Lakes first,” said Lisa Wozniak, Executive Director of Michigan LCV. “The lawmakers we send to Lansing must be committed to making a change for the better for our families to enjoy the beauty Michigan has to offer.”

“Our success in the August primary sent a clear message — regardless of party, Michigan residents want to elect candidates to office who will prioritize our public health and protecting the Great Lakes,” said Jack Schmitt, Deputy Director of Michigan LCV. “We have an aggressive plan to ensure our endorsed candidates are victorious in November, ushering in a conservation majority for the next legislative session and ensuring our land, air and water are protected for future generations.”
