Mining law? What mining law?

Many worked long and hard to ensure that Michigan put in place the strongest laws in the nation to guide decisions around non-ferrous mining, notably mining through sulfide or, which has never been done anywhere in the world without significant sulfuric acid contamination of adjacent lands and waters.
